What does the procedure consist of?
Endovenous Laser Ablation is a procedure that uses a laser to heat and shrink or close the diseased vein. After the vein shrinks, the body automatically routes the blood through other, healthy veins. The procedure takes anywhere from 45 minutes to one hour, and requires only a local anesthetic. In less than the time it takes to watch a movie, you can get rid of the source of your varicose veins and treat the root cause of your symptoms.
